The Artec EDGE-Z is a 4 band acoustic guitar EQ that has "Presence", "Treble", "Middle" and "Bass" slider controls that allow for ‚±10dB. Included with the EQ is a 9v battery and a jack socket and screws. The Piezo pickup is not included but we sell an Artec pickup here if you needed to add this to the order. The battery mounts inside the the preamp and the FLIP-HOOD system allows to change batteries simply and quickly without having to remove the entire unit. The device also contains an LCD tuner.

The EQ uses an internal clamping so no screws are required for installation. If you are not sure on how to route the side slot in your guitar then we highly recommend taking the instrument to a local qualified guitar luthier who can carry the work out for you. Due to the unique contour of the preamp, it can only be fitted into the body in one direction meaning that the display and controls will be facing away from you if being fitted into a left handed guitar. The socket that is supplied cannot be used as a strap button so you would need to purchase an alternative socket that allows this and then solder the socket to the cable.
